Who Are We?

The North Northamptonshire Rural Action Partnership is a Local Action Group (LAG), originally formed in Autumn 2007 and developed through 2008 onwards. It represents local community and rural business interests from across the North Northamptonshire area. The terms of reference of the partnership require that at least 50% of the group’s members must be from the private or voluntary & community sectors with rest from the statutory sector (eg Local authorities and publicly funded bodies).

We meet on a regular basis (at least quarterly) throughout the year to identify and consider funding applications for rural development programmes and projects that meet the criteria we have laid out in our Local Development Strategy (LDS).
