Our aim is to improve the economic wellbeing of rural North Northamptonshire by encouraging, tourism, micro enterprises and the diversification of land based businesses.

 

The Partnership also aims to provide help to preserve and enhance the built and natural heritage of this beautiful part of Northamptonshire, whilst ensuring that developments are environmentally friendly.

As a part of the LEADER programme co-operation projects are encouraged between Local Action Groups both within the UK and across member states.
North Northamptonshire Rural Action Partnership are interested in getting involved in projects which will help us achieve the aims and objectives of our Local Development Strategy for which we have funding available under RDPE measure 421, co-operation activity.

The Northamptonshire Business Show is a celebration of Northamptonshire’s enterprise talent, providing an opportunity for newly developed businesses in the county to exhibit their success.
 
The event is part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week 2009, courtesy of Northamptonshire Enterprise LTD and Business Link in association with The University of Northampton, who all work in conjunction to promote and support the county’s entrepreneurial talent.

On 15th October, in conjunction with the Environment Agency’s Waterways Development Team, a breakfast seminar was held at Rushden & Diamonds Football Club, just a penalty kick away from the River Nene.
The theme was to stimulate ideas from interested parties e.g. Land & Business Owners around the River Nene with regard to bringing forward projects to make greater use of the River itself, and the surrounding area.
