The Partnership also aims to provide help to preserve and enhance the built and natural heritage of this beautiful part of Northamptonshire, whilst ensuring that developments are environmentally friendly.
A group of visitors from Aurillac were due to arrive on 22 November to inspect Adrenaline Alley in Corby and on the following day visit six of our Leader projects.
Under a new initiative grants of 40% of costs up to a maximum £25,000 contribution are available to farmers, foresters and horticulturists.
The LEADER funded bridge crossing over the Nene, linking Frontier Centre, Irthlingborough with Stanwick Lakes is now open following a well planned delicate process which included temporary closure of the of the river to boat traffic. The North Northamptonshire LEADER budget for 2011/12 has now been confirmed at £582,000 and new enquiries are invited through to the end of of the programme in December 2013. Northamptonshire ACRE now manage the LEADER programme directly with DEFRA.
